The Fire Circle: Women Leaders Rising
The Fire Circle
Intimate confidential circles of high-achieving women reclaiming their innate power, sacred rage, desire, ancestral intuition and joy.
I gather small confidential circles of high-level women leaders — generous, well-resourced, multicultural, multifaith — who are fired up to reclaim their ancestral wisdom and intuition for these times.
Together, we move through seasonal rituals, earth-based ceremony and deep reflective work. While I provide the frame and all materials, circles are always co-created with the leadership who enters. This is the indigenous way: collective and caring towards all in the container. Please know this is a space that honors indigenous wisdom without appropriating it. We listen, we ask permission, we move with mindfulness, sacred reciprocity and passion. And I hold one firm boundary, in service of the container: this work touches body and spirit, never bypassing either. I work with leaders who hold themselves accountable — to themselves, and to the people who work for them.

All Family Fire Circles (Seasonal, on demand)
As a mama, former Gender Studies professor, and eternal youth advocate, I am keenly aware of the childcare and care labor carried primarily by women and femmes. Due to my own desire to build a supportive spiritual community for my child and myself, whose indigenous relatives all live in Brasil, I co-founded a biannual animist-centered retreat years ago with my beloved Maestra, Annie Blackstone. Over the years, we built a cultivated family of all ages held by the NorCal's gorgeous redwoods — and I watched, season after season, how our little ones learned. Not only by being taught, but by being present: sitting at the edge of the circle, watching the hands, hearing the songs and shares, until one day they were simply in it...

That's how it has always worked in indigenous communities, where wisdom moves through the whole lifespan at once and the young are honored as participants rather than bystanders. So I also hold circles that welcome the whole family — the woman leading, her partner, the teenager asking hard questions, the child who only wants to be near the fire... These are seasonal gathered near the equinoxes, and offered only on demand: shaped around the families who seek this type of gathering, when they're ready. As a long-time educator, former Girls Inc director, former ED of Our Family Coalition, I have designed countless types of children's and youth development circles since 2016, and have seen what shifts when a family does its healing and spiritual practices together instead of one person carrying it alone. That's a thread I'm keeping in The Women Leader Fire Circle.
